Heart of Gold Consulting was created to simplify that process and provide guidance in a supportive, honest, and approachable way.

Katrina brings over 25 years of professional experience in banking, mortgage lending, financial services, sales, leadership, administration, and customer relations.

In addition to her civilian career, Katrina has proudly serves over 15 years in the United States Air Force Reserve, where she has held administrative, operational, and leadership support roles focused on records management, deployment readiness, accountability, organization, and mission support. She currently serves as a Unit Deployment Manager for Space Training & Readiness Command at Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Throughout her career, Katrina has worked in multiple areas of the financial industry including:

• Banking

• Mortgage lending

• Insurance

• Investments

• Small business relationship management

• Sales and client development

Her background includes experience with Wells Fargo, Vectra Bank, T. Rowe Price, State Farm Insurance, and over a decade in mortgage lending where she specialized in VA, FHA, Conventional, and Reverse Mortgage loans.

As a former Senior Relationship Banker, Katrina worked directly with small business owners, helping clients navigate banking services, account management, lending solutions, and business growth opportunities. She also developed extensive experience in customer service, sales strategy, relationship building, CRM systems, marketing, and business operations.

Beyond professional experience, Katrina is also a dedicated single mother and entrepreneur who understands the challenges of balancing business goals, family responsibilities, financial pressure, and personal growth. That real-world experience is a core part of the Heart of Gold Consulting approach — providing practical guidance with empathy, encouragement, and authenticity.
